When you think about affiliate sales, you'll read many articles about how, get the customers attention, get the e-mail address and auto send them hard or soft sell emails.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that this affiliate avenue is slowing down.

Maybe it's the fact that Google (Adwords) and the other PPC companies have locked out Copyright and Gambling from advertising on the system. Maybe it's because the general public is fed up and too savey to fall for this type of gimick.. I myself just delete spam and have no use for it, other than to see what people are desperate to sell online.

Go for the long haul!

I really mean, be as patient as you can. Make the effort to respect the people you want to convert on a sale.

Try other avenues of marketing, maybe create something new. Or get creative. Many people are doing just that and they are the ones making the money we all dream of. Remember, I myself are just like you. I'm working at making a little extra.

The internet widget and gadgets are exploding, Yahoo and Microsoft both. These are nothing new, Konfabulator has been around for years, but was just recently taken over by yahoo. Now MSN live is new. This is a whole new spot for you to create a gadget that you could profit from.

Ok.. this is an example, but the theory in principle is what you should look at.
Because soon or a later, people will trash the spam and ignore the ads!

I'm actually blogging a good amount of information that you'd pay for in the $$$ make tons of money on the internet ebooks. I do recommend google cash as a decent read. You'll make that money back the first week. The rich jerk and others well it's all the same stuff.. really stick to buy only one. If you don't make anything from what is in that one.. Ran accross this article. It's a very cool take on a lot of different aspects of the online market. It touches briefly on a large amount of proven money making niches.

I also like that fact that it's another person, like me not running a ebook for sale scam, trying to slog out what is almost allways free on the internet.

It's so worth a read, I found some parts humerous, but overall 101 Ways to make money on the internet was not a waste of time.

Idea 1. Building a site. Using Blogger, linking affilates

Steps.

• Register a domain name

• Setup a hosting service with a website hosting company.

• Create a blog with Blogger.com and use the advanced option to save to your own website ftp (file transfer server)

If you are asking why you shouldn't just use blogger to host the blog you can. But your own site comes in hand for other ways to add to your income stream. I'll get into that later.

Biggest reason for having your site host the blog is that you can include the sites blog into many more search engines that limit the amount of submission from site names.

Blogger.com will hit it's max on engines like MSN live search before you ever get it added.

• Create an account at CJ.com (Commission Junction) or LinkShare or Red Goloshes.

Now that you have a blog setup. Now you need to pick topics to write about. The more you write about a topic you know. The more text that is added, the more "FOOD" for the search engines to chew up.

• Write your head off! And embed links into your blog articles. If you are writting about brand new cars.. link it.
• Submit your site to the search engines.

This idea takes time, lots of work and isn't a get rich idea. This is about writing about topics you know about, linking to affiliate products that are products that your reader base would find useful and would actually buy.

Remember, the more content that is new, fresh, unique. The more the search engines will love you. Yahoo and Google spend plenty of time and effort in matching duplicate text and driving those pages to the bottom of the index.
